It was a pleasure to hang out with Chip and Pepper Foster during the opening of their pop-up shop on Friday in The Distillery District.
The music was bumping, the drinks flowing, the girls dancing and the boys were as vibrant as ever greeting guests and showing off their surf-inspired pop-up shop. The shop was designed by co-founder/owner of Lileo Boutique, Arlene Pastor and is a modern yet comfortable art installation which provides inspiration for surf, sand and fun.
Sara Koonar of Adorned Magazine quoted Chip Foster about their new digs: “The new Chip and Pepper Wet Wear collection consists of fresh California bleeds with Rasta colors in tees, hoodies, thermals, sweatpants for men, women and kids. Shoppers will enjoy knowing they are getting clothes, either for themselves or for gifts, which will not be available anywhere else.”
Sara’s suggested must-have item: Chip and Pepper skinny jeans with a zip-up detail at the ankle…I couldn’t agree more. I myself a pair in dark denim and in a gray wash!
The shop is open until December 31st.
