Thought we would take a moment to properly introduce ourselves and give an update on the agency. Scott has been in the action sports industry for more than 10 years – he started off working as the Dynastar Tech Rep for Chris Horan. He went on to represent SPY and Ripcurl while at the agency. With passion and a strong will to succeed, he started fourtwentysix inc. sales agency 6 years ago becoming the Ontario Sales Rep for Marker, Volkl and at the time, Technica (now, Dalbello). Other lines represented over the years include Rome Snowboards, LiquidForce, Excel Wetsuits and a few others.
We were meant to be…when Scott, recently introduced to me, asked if I would “help” with an event – I jumped at the opportunity. “Wear a bikini…” was all he said. Yup, that’s me – the SPY spank girl at Wakestock! What a romantic love story!!!
In the past year, Scott proposed not only marriage but partnership in the agency to Stephanie. Returning to retail has been exciting for Stephanie who managed Out On A Limb boutique on Avenue Road for 3 years. Owner, Ellen Somer, mentored Stephanie on the importance of customer service, merchandising techniques, how to buy and why people buy. Stephanie plans on applying the knowledge she gained to create new opportunities and experiences for her customers.
Assisting with the soft goods portion of the agency, Stephanie started off with Marker Ltd. Apparel last season and is looking forward to the addition of Goldwin and Zeiner for this winter season. The agency grew into a summer/winter business this year with the addition of Boardworks Canada along with Quintsoul swimwear, Cover Me Swim and Cobian sandals. Scott and Stephanie are determined, focused and hard-working.
It has been a great adventure so far with the new summer lines and we are anticipating an exciting winter season. We are eager and excited to be working with so many wonderful retailers and shops. Thanks for the continuous support of the agency – it is greatly appreciated!!
